My guiding concept for 2025 will be 'RESONANCE' - as in tuning in to and vibrating with nature, seasons, weathers, people, ideas, art, music, breath, movement, and all things beautiful and nourishing.

Thanks to @bernard_rappaz ‘ recommendation, I recently discovered #hartmutrosa 's concept of resonance as an attitude that can help us enjoy our life in these frenetic and chaotic times.

The concept englobes awareness, connection, and exchange, it’s like living your life as an internal dance with all that surrounds you. And like dancing, it takes a lot of practice 😅.

"We live in a society in which more and more people feel like they’re facing a mute, indifferent world," says sociologist Hartmut Rosa. “(…) People who live a full life have a vibrant connection to other people, to nature, their work. Life does not succeed just when we’re rich in resources and options, but when we love it.”

🌦It Rained on My First Wedding.

This summer, I was honored to create and guide Bea and Ben's wedding ceremony. We prepared for a joyful celebration in a breathtaking alpine setting, surrounded by rugged arolla trees and majestic summits.

But mountain weather shifts quickly from glorious blue skies to thick grey billows, and on their wedding day, it rained.

Bea and Ben, true to their nature-loving, weather-braving spirits, went on undeterred. The gentle drizzle and cloudy veils felt like a heavenly blessing, and we all felt the harmony of being united with the couple, the mountains, and all living beings around us.
It was a genuinely memorable experience that reflected the personalities and values of the young couple and drew their community together around them. 🌈

💞 Love is in Our Nature.

Last winter, I trained with the Celebrants Collective to become a certified celebrant, dedicated to creating meaningful ceremonies that honor life's significant transitions. As a humanist celebrant, I believe in crafting authentic rituals that bring communities together.
Whether it’s an elopement, wedding, vow renewal, naming ceremony, funeral, or any other rite of passage, I take a mindful and environmentally conscious approach to ensure each event reflects the uniqueness of the individuals it celebrates and our shared wonder for life on Earth.

I officiate ceremonies in Tuscany and Switzerland, in English, Italian, French, and German (including Swiss German), ensuring an inclusive experience for all.

Meet Neda Saeedi in person at @artgeneve on Saturday, 1 February 2025 and explore her creative and philosophical universe as she reflects on her recent art installations.

Saeedi, the fabulous artist in residence at Podere Trafonti during the summer of 2024, will be conversing with @yasminafschar , curator, and Julien Tavelli of @maximage_societe_suisse , graphic designer, on the making of Saeedi's Trafonti Notebook, Whispers, published in 2024 by Mousse Publishers @moussemagazine (Milan).

As a platform dedicated to modern and contemporary artistic expression, Art Genève offers visitors a thought-provoking program of discussions covering a broad spectrum of topics linked to the world of art. Whether it’s exploring emerging trends, discussing critical issues, or diving behind the scenes of artistic creation, each talk is designed to encourage visitors to reflect and deepen their understanding of contemporary art.

The event will be held in English at Art Geneva, Palexpo, Art Talks Booth (A2) from 18 :00 to 19 :00. Admission is free.
